richsmtp.com does not set cookies and does not use local storage, session storage or any other way of storing information in your browser. It does not load analytics, advertising, retargeting, pixel, chat or social-media tags, and its fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own server. Visiting the site therefore tells no third party that you were here, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Like every web server, ours keeps an access log of requests (IP address, time, page, response status, referring page and browser user agent). That log is not a cookie and is not used to track you across sites; how long we keep it is in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

3. The account dashboard

When you sign in to a RichSMTP account we set a session cookie so that you stay signed in while you move between pages. It is strictly necessary: without it the dashboard cannot work, so it does not require consent. It is deleted when you sign out or when the session expires.

We may also set preference cookies to remember choices you make in the dashboard, such as display settings. Neither kind is used for analytics, advertising or tracking you on other websites.

4. Payments

Card payments are taken on our payment processor's hosted checkout (Stripe). While you are on that checkout, the processor may use its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment, under its own cookie and privacy policies.

5. Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies has no effect on this website. Blocking them for the dashboard will stop you staying signed in.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever add a cookie or a third-party tag to the website, we will update this policy and the Privacy Policy before it goes live, with a new effective date.
